Leupold GX-I Rangefinder Pinhunter Review

!±8± Leupold GX-I Rangefinder Pinhunter Review

In terms of renown, the Leupold GX-I Rangefinder Pinhunter review is of a model that is nowhere near as famous as the its Bushnell or Callaway cousins. Despite this lack of popularity, it does, on the surface, appear to be an extremely attractive option for a rangefinder.

Not only are do all the essential qualities appear to be there, but it is also completely tournament legal and is priced within a range that allows it to be a good value for money option.

Decent Features and Specifications

Any Leupold GX-I Rangefinder Pinhunter review that is based on the specs alone may be slightly disappointing at first. For the most part it offers solid, if unspectacular, features that are very usable and yet lack that certain something extra to make them stand out.

Foremost among these, the first factor that seems to be very normal is the range that was tested during the Leupold GX-I Rangefinder Pinhunter review. At a 750 yard maximum, it is certainly sufficient for most regular shots, but does not compare to the 1,000 yard plus maximum that some other rangefinders can achieve.

Likewise, the 6x magnification is reasonable, but does not distinguish itself in an area where many rangefinders currently operate at up to 7x magnification or greater. Being accurate up to 1 yard, give or take, it is comparable to most rangefinders of today.

Usability: Coming Into Its Own

However, as many a Leupold GX-I Rangefinder Pinhunter review has found, this model is not really steeped in mediocrity as it may first appear to be. Instead, it is a true hidden gem that has probably only escaped popularity due to its apparent surface limitations.

In one area, the Leupold GX-I Rangefinder Pinhunter review discovered this model to be extremely effective in: Usability.

With the Pinhunter technology that is a rival for Bushnell's Pinseeker technology, and combined with Quick Set Menus that match Callaway's One Touch interface, it mixes and matches both of these strengths to devastating effect.

The result: An easy to use and extremely efficient rangefinder.

Although it is almost expected that any rangefinder nowadays should come loaded to the brim with features, the Leupold GX-I Rangefinder Pinhunter review is a welcome change of pace and approach. It is a difference that could prove to be a large advantage to any golfer looking for a rangefinder, and certainly, this model should not be passed over on surface value alone.
